Bong Bong Marcos Power of Hydro, Power of the future

Magat Dam and  the Hydro power plant
Magat Dam is a large rock-fill dam in the island of Luzon in the Philippines. The dam is on the Magat River, a major tributary of Cagayan River. Construction of the dam started in 1975 and was completed in 1982. Magat Dam is one of the largest dams in the Philippines. It is a multi-purpose dam which is used primarily for irrigating about 85,000 hectares (210,000 acres) of agricultural lands,[1] flood control, and power generation through the Magat Hydroelectric Power Plant.
The construction and appurtenant structures was authorized by P.D. 693 signed on May 7, 1975 by the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos. The Magat Dam was constructed in 1978 and inaugurated by the Late Pres. Ferdinand E. Marcos on October 27, 1982 and started operations in 1983

Bangui Wind Turbine

The hydroelectric power plant is a four-unit powerhouse with an installed capacity of 360 megawatts. It is designed to accommodate two more units that will allow it to generate up to 540 megawatts. The hydroelectric plant is a peaking power plant, which means that it only operates when there is a high demand for electricity in the Luzon power grid, to which the plant is connected.
The most common type of hydroelectric power plant is an impoundment facility. An impoundment facility, typically a large hydropower system, uses a dam to store river water in a reservoir. Water released from the reservoir flows through a turbine, spinning it, which in turn activates a generator to produce electricity.

The Magat Dam a double purpose project of President Ferdinand Marcos is a monumental project that until now Filipinos are benefiting. These types of project should be enhanced and generated for Filipinos to move and further utilize. The vision of President Marcos for the future should be one characteristic of our next president. The future of the Philippines depends on the visions of our next leaders. Just like President Marcos he envisioned that one day oil products will deplete.
The construction of Magat with the Hydro electric power plant economizes the production of power. Now Bong Bong Marcos was able to harness the power of the wind by wind turbines. These natural sources of power are efficient and economical. Wind turbine is not only economical but also timely since the production of oil is slowly depleting. One of these days oil will be scarce that a natural source of power is needed. Bong Bong Marcos has initiated this power supply and I hope that one day soon emerges with another source of power. Bong Bong Marcos has the vision, he has the will, let us give him a chance. Let us give him the leadership

  1. Meron bang nagawa ang mga aquino??

    1. wala nga po lalo pa tayo inilubog. Please follow my blogs and share para maimulat natin kapwa pilipino natin. Thank you po in advance

    2. wala po puro nga nga lng ginawa nila :)

  3. Me nagawa ang Aquino un ay ibenta ang pinagawa ni Marcos sa mga oligarch na negosyante gaya ng geothermal plant na Makban ng Laguna at sa Leyte

  4. The Marcoses are the only political leaders who have a vision for our nation; and the resolve to carry out and make that vision into a reality.

  5. The power extracted from the water depends on the volume and on the difference in height between the source and the water's outflow. hydroelectric plants in the us
